SCHOOL = $$$$$$

Yay! I just wanted to let you all know that I was one the recipients of the $3,000 ACE'M Scholarship here at MATC! I had to write some essay about my future in the field and stuff and, wah-lah!

For your information ACE'M stands for the Architectural, Civil engineering technology, Electronics, and Mechanical design technology. plus an invisible I, for Information (apparently, like the kind the government keeps on you) technology. I just had to look that up myself, since I had no idea what it stood for. Oops, hope that doesn't mean I have to pay it back now!

Anyway, I ALMOST had all my other financial aid money and my work-study position at the testing center taken away before school started. Something about me having too many attempted credits counted from the time I was last at MATC (like in 1992!), blahblahblah. I had to write an essay about how being poor would affect my schoolwork and stuff. So, I got my appeal, and have plenty of money for a little, tiny while.

I still shop at the Salvation Army and the ALDI.

And I'm still waiting for the Truckslayer to cough up some more cash for her assault on my little Ford Ranger...
